The sculpture training courses
For these training courses, I chose soapstone or steatite of natural origin: Brazil, India, China, North Africa.
The soapstone is an ideal material to learn sculpture.
It is a soft stone, of varied colors and shapes .
Once worked, it reveals the richness of its structure.
The choice of the color and the block determines the future sculpture.

During the training course we use:
- Saws
- “Burin” and scissors
- Files to rough-hew the block to discover its form.
- Small electro-mechanic equipment for the finishes.
Then we have all the material necessary for sanding and shining the piece.
